Day 1 – Hello, Zadar!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Here we go! Having arrived to Zadar and safely parked your car at the Mediteran Hotel, take a moment to freshen up, get settled in your room and have a quick rest, lounge by the pool for a while (from spring to autumn), do whatever feels right because you can relax having reached your destination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Afterwards, take a walk towards the beach, possibly go for a refreshing swim (in the summer months) and just enjoy the sight of the sea. Why not also grab a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant such as Mamma Mia or Konoba Rafaelo?<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, don\u2019t miss the famous Zadar sunset off the waterfront. Take a taxi or an Uber to get to the historical peninsula and let it take you to the city\u2019s most famous modern attractions: the Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun, also known as Sun Salutation. Before you call it a night and get a ride back to the hotel, round off your first day in Zadar with a drink in the Kampo Kastelo historical neighbourhood on the tip of the peninsula.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 2 – Out and About in Zadar<\/span><\/h2>\n

It\u2019s time to rise and shine\u2026 and roam the streets of Zadar! It takes roughly 40 minutes of walking to reach Narodni trg (People\u2019s Square) on the historical peninsula by crossing the pedestrian bridge. To save time, you can also rent a bike (available at the Mediteran Hotel) or take a taxi\/Uber.<\/span><\/p>\n

Walk this way! One of the best and the most informative ways to get to know the historical core is to opt for a guided walking tour. The guide leads the way past Zadar\u2019s most and less famous sights giving you information you may not find otherwise. You will learn about the defensive walls and gates (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Roman Forum, St Donatus\u2019 Church, St Anastasia\u2019s Cathedral, Kalelarga street (officially \u0160iroka ulica) and historical squares. It\u2019s a tour you can do on your own as well at your own pace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having spent the morning discovering the city\u2019s attractions, take a break in Jelena Madije Park next to the Five Wells Square overlooking the Land Gate and\/or stop for lunch in the Varo\u0161 historical neighbourhood or other nearby restaurants. Afterwards, pick a museum matching your interests, be it the Archaeological Museum, Museum of Ancient Glass, Gold and Silver of Zadar exhibition, Museum of Illusions or others. On your way back to the hotel, take a barkajoli boat ride across the channel, if you are on foot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 3 – Bye, bye Zadar and see you soon!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Use your stay all the way! Having packed and arranged your check out, why wouldn\u2019t you have one final memorable Zadar experience. Pick one of the fascinating squares, be it the Forum, People\u2019s Square, Five Wells Square or Petar Zorani\u0107 Square and simply catch some sun rays over a cup of coffee, just as the Zadrans like to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plan every step of the way or be spontaneous and divert off your tour when it feels right.
